Newly opened Jeffrey T. Fort Neuroscience Research Building dedicated - The Source - Washington University in St. Louis

One of the world’s largest neuroscience research buildings was dedicated Jan. 18 at Washington University in St. Louis. Also celebrated was the 11-story Medical Campus building’s new name: the Jeffrey T. Fort Neuroscience Research Building, in recognition of a gift from Fort, a longtime university supporter.

To help advance fight against vision loss, Fort pledges $15 million - The Source - Washington University in St. Louis

Research led by Rajendra S. Apte, MD, PhD, in the John F. Hardesty, MD, Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, is the focus of a $15 million pledge from philanthropist Jeffrey T. Fort to accelerate research and develop new treatments for diseases that cause vision loss.
