Hardesty, MD, Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, is the focus of a $15 million pledge from philanthropist Jeffrey T. Fort to accelerate research and develop new treatments for diseases that cause vision loss.
