A Durban-based organisation advocating for autistic people says the coronavirus pandemic has had a major impact on people with autism.

World Autism Month is being observed globally this April - and Action in Autism says it wants the quality of life for people with Autism to be improved.
Chairperson, Liza Aziz says it's been tough with the pandemic.
"It has had such a dire impact on our people having to be in confined spaces or having single moms bringing them up in confined spaces", she said.
