Rep. Ilhan Omar, who has been pushing to defund the police, spent thousands of dollars on private security for her campaign, according to FEC records.
Omar said the Minnesota crime surge is due to the "dysfunctional police department" that has "chosen to not fulfill their oath of office."
Pro-defund the police "squad" members reportedly spent nearly $100,000 on private security during the last filing quarter with the FEC.
FEC records show that “Squad” queen Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and other aligned progressives have shelled out serious cash over the third quarter on private security.
