Pittsfield residents commemorate the 50-year anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision
On Sunday, January 22, 50 years after the U.S. Supreme Court handed down its Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, the Berkshire Democratic Brigades organized a commemoration of the Court's original decision at Park Square in Pittsfield. The event, according to Berkshire County NAACP President Dennis Powell, was all about mobilizing democracy.
