Oldham hero Frank Rothwell Oldham’s hero grandad Frank Rothwell has passed the halfway mark in his solo 3,000 mile Atlantic row, with donations now reaching £600,000 towards his remarkable target of raising £1million for Alzheimer’s Research UK.  Frank began his epic journey from La Gomera as part of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge on December 12. Stephen Roberts, the husband of Nicky Patrick, Scotland’s procurator fiscal for homicide and crime, was convicted of running companies when he was disqualified as a director.
