Marion County health officials are ramping up communication with thousands of seniors who have registered for the COVID-19 vaccine but have not yet gotten calls to set appointments. Those people will receive emails notifying them where they are on the list and an estimated time when they may be called to set an appointment. Those who do not have email addresses will get phone calls.  During their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, county commissioners emphasized that the local health department is not holding back vaccines.
