One Dead In Single Vehicle Crash In Christian County

By WMAY Newsroom (Adobe Stock) A Taylorville man has died in a single-vehicle crash in Christian County. Police were called to the scene just after 4am Sunday in May Township. 51-year-old Mark Pearse was the only occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say he died of injuries related to the crash. Toxicology tests are pending, and the wreck remains under investigation.
