What the gop recently did basically taking a very strong line against homosexuality. i do agree with nate that religion has definitely declined in america. i don t think there s a question about that. and i think one of the reasons for trump was that decline. as people stopped identifying as christians, they started identifying more by race and gender. specifically for trump voters. their white identity came to the forefront. there is a false belief among electorates, that people will turn toward humanism. history has shown it is not true. this new trumpist right has all the negatives. old religious right. it is full of hypocrisy and has this materialist obsession with power that is really at odds with spirituality stoffel same way it was backed by religion and politics, i think that will ....
