Painting covering up enslaved boy restored, to hang in Met

A 19th century family portrait which was altered to cover up an enslaved teenager initially etched on canvas has been recently restored to its original version. After half a century in hiding, it is now set to hang in The Metropolitan Museum of Art this Fall.
