Firefighters battled some lingering hot spots here for much of the evening. But tonight this fire was started at the ground floor and spread all the way to the roof. They say its under control. Smoke could be seen pouring from the Tysons Corner mall for blocks away. I saw black, billowing smoke in this general direction. I kind of thought it maybe was a tanker on fire on the beltway. I couldnt believe when i got here it was the mall. Reporter inside the movie theater, the smell of smoke was no special effects. We were watching a movie. And, like, it was a big noise.
