NWS: Winds Exceeded 60 mph During Last Night's Storm SAN ANGELO, TX -- Severe weather is simply a fact of life in West Texas and last night's storm brought in winds that exceeded 60 mph. According to the National Weather Service, winds speeds were recorded at 63 miles per hour and scattered storms hit the area.
