Journal editor claims he was fired over Onion story on Gaza
Michael Eisen, a geneticist and editor-in-chief of the eLife academic journal, who is Jewish, said he was dismissed from his position for sharing a parody article from The Onion titled, "Dying Gazans Criticized For Not Using Last Words To Condemn Hamas."
