Capital City's Albert signs with Missouri as a thrower
The Capital City Cavaliers have only competed in two complete track and field seasons. They already have their second athlete headed to a Division I program. Sam Albert has developed from missing the state meet as a sophomore, to earning a state medal with a third-place finish in the shot put last year, to being an All-American at the New Balance Nationals Indoor meet. Now he’s set to join the Missouri Tigers after his senior season.
