News. Theresa may has announced a series of measures ahead of the conservative Party Conference which she is hoping will appeal to younger voters. Theres to be a freeze on tuition fees and students wont have to start paying back loans until they re earning over twenty five thousand pounds a year. The Prime Minister says these are the first steps in a wider review of university funding. Labour which has promised to abolish tuition fees has called the proposals desperate.
