The Cambridge, Mass.-based intelligent edge platform provider will launch its newly created Security Technology and Edge Technology business groups on March 1, both of which will be supported by a single global sales organization. San Francisco, Feb 1 : Cloud service provider Akamai on Monday announced it has agreed to acquire Montreal-based Inverse, an open-source consulting and integration company, for an undisclosed sum.
Akamai said that the acquisition is aimed to enhance its enterprise security capabilities and expand its portfolio of zero trust and secure access service edge solutions for Internet of Things (IoT).
