Photographs show Ukraine using a stash of Grad rockets made in North Korea in barrages against Russian troops around Bakhmut’s ruins.

Aerial reconnaissance of the 3rd separate assault brigade, in cooperation with the Adam tactical group, found and destroyed a Russian Tyulpan 240-mm self-propelled mortar near the town of Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast, using a HIMARS multiple rocket launcher, the brigade reported on Telegram on July 17, citing video.

SEOUL (Reuters) -North Korea fired two more ballistic missiles off its east coast on Monday, as the powerful sister of leader Kim Jong Un warned U.S. forces to halt military drills, saying the reclusive nuclear state could turn the Pacific into a "firing range". The launches come just two days after North Korea fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) into the sea off Japan's west coast, prompting the United States to hold joint air exercises with South Korea and separately with Japan on Sunday.

As Russians struggle to maintain a steady source of ammunition and artillery, they look to their Asian neighbor North Korea for arms.

Ukraine says it has used US-supplied advanced weapons systems to strike more than 50 military targets in recent weeks. It credits the multiple rocket-launching systems known as HIMARS with helping destroy ammunition depots and bridges in Russian-held territory.
