The Jerusalem Post reported Sunday.
Rimer has been on HRW’s board of directors since 2009 and last year was promoted to co-chairman of the organization’s international board of directors.Last week, HRW issued a report accusing Israel of “apartheid” and called on the United Nations to impose an arms embargo against the Jewish state.

One of the chairmen of Human Rights Watch, which recently released a report accusing Israel of apartheid, runs a venture capital fund that invests heavily in Israeli start-ups.
Neil Rimer has been a Human Rights Watch board member since 2009, and became co-chair of the organization’s international board of directors in 2020. At the time, he expressed a particular interest in the dangers of governments utilizing technological tools to abuse human rights.
Last week, Human Rights Watch accused Israel of apartheid for the first time in its history, and called on the UN to apply an arms embargo against Israel.

Roblox Corp., transformed into a cultural icon during the coronavirus pandemic, made its public debut Wednesday with its shares rising 7.8% from its opening price.
Roblox is one of the few companies that have gone public through a direct listing, an alternative to an initial public offering in which the shares begin trading without the company issuing new stock.
The company’s shares, which opened trading at $64.50 apiece, closed at $69.50 in New York, giving Roblox a market value of more than $38 billion. The company’s fully diluted valuation, including restricted stock units and employee options, is about $45 billion, making it one of the most valuable companies to go public during the pandemic.

Baszucki and Rimer are two of the biggest winners in Roblox's direct listing, the latest tech company to go public at a massive valuation and generate hefty paper returns for its founders and venture backers. Snowflake, Palantir, Airbnb and DoorDash all went public from September to December and are now worth between $44 billion and $110 billion.
Roblox's biggest outside stakeholder is Altos Ventures, which owns shares worth $8.1 billion, followed by Meritech Capital at $3.8 billion and then Index.
