A deadly crash that happened about 1 00 this morning with this vehicle that ran into a tree and unfortunately someone died as a result of this injury crash. Again, its on buchanan road and near contra loma boulevard, not too far from highway 4. Buchanan roads is one of the roads that parallels highway 4. Right now you cant use it. You will see that the Antioch Police will be releasing a little bit more about what happened here but they have confirmed to us that this was a deadly crash and they still have a very active scene as you can see. Talk about the tracy commute because we have had westbound 580 and 205, that freeway has been getting slower and slower before you actually make it to the pass. Report of a gunshot fired. A man in his late 20s who has yet to be identified was found dead in a Newark Shopping Center saturday morning. Employees say a customer walked by and saw the victim slumped over the steering wheel. Jimmy lee, Shopping Plaza employeehis engine was running and the windshield wipers were on. The victim was shot at least once in the head while sitting in the drivers seat of this dark grey bmw. The first homicide of the year was called into police at half past noon. But plaza employees say they think it happened hours before. Were still looking at videos and witnesses but we do have some leads. Newark police arent releasing any surveillence video at this time.
