SCOTT TRUXELL/ Lincolnview teachers now have a new contract in place after action taken on Monday. The Board of Education formally approved a new three-year deal with members of the Lincolnview Local Education Association during Monday night’s monthly meeting. The contract, which begins July 1 and runs through June 30, 2024, includes annual raises of 2.5, 2.25, and 2.5 percent, plus a memorandum of understanding of 2.5 percent for a fourth year. Three-year administrative contracts were approved for High School Principal Dave Bowen, Middle School Principal Trent Kreischer, Food Service Supervisor Penny Clark, Program Services Director Amy Eickholt, Assistant Treasurer Amy Gerardot and Maintenance/Custodial Supervisor Geoff Waddles. (Photo submitted) VAN WERT – Two Van Wert locals are expressing their generosity through an extreme running event, with all funds raised being donated to Haven of Hope Men’s Homeless Shelter located in Van Wert, Ohio. Ultra-runners Shane Leeth and Nick Leeth will be completing the David Goggins Challenge beginning on March 5, 2021. The David Goggins challenge involves running four miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. Shane and Nick will start their runs Friday, March 5, 2021, at 11 p.m. and will be running at 11, 3, and 7 until the final run on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at
