Is just ten years old. Six weeks after the earthquake, cal trans is back to make all the repairs necessary for this bridge to withstand the next quake. The emola avenue bridge and the others in town have been deemed safe for the public but the minor to moderate damage can be repaired while the structure is open. In some cases the damage is actually an indication of how well the bridge performed in the august quake. These are heavily reinforced deep foundation bridges. They are allowed to move.
