Cinesite is making a big bet on Quebec animation by its second Montreal studio in as many months.

Cinesite has acquired a majority stake in the animation and motion capture studio Squeeze, which is behind the hit Cracké.

Cinesite Montreal Makes Four Senior Hires As Studio Grows The vfx supervisors are Damien Hurgon ( Ellen Poon ( Jurassic Park, Frozen, Raya and the Last Dragon). The trio come with almost 70 years’ combined experience. Cinesite’s new feature animation head of production is Nathan Santell ( Mad Max: Fury Road, Gravity, Iron Man 3), who will lead the team in creating efficiencies and refining pipeline and workflows.
