Sir Norman Stronge, 86, and his son James, 48, were shot at their County Armagh mansion on 21 January 1981. The historic building, Tynan Abbey, was then set on fire by their IRA killers. Both men were high-profile members of the Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) and party colleagues have paid tribute by laying wreaths at Stormont and Tynan.
