Tallahassee, Fla.   –  Florida State freshman cross country runner Jane Eiselstein was chosen at the ACC Women’s Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.  The honor is given weekly the top-performing true freshman in the league. In her first outing in the Garnet and Gold, Eiselstein was the third Seminole to cross the finish line at the FSU Invite, placing 27th behind a personal best of 18:20.3 in the 5K. Results Tallahassee, Fla.   –  The Florida State cross country teams competed in the sole home meet of the season on Friday at the Apalachee Regional Park. Racing in ideal conditions, the Noles certainly excelled on their home course as nine scoring runners logged personal best collegiate times. The men took second place, scoring 87 points in the 8K, led by redshirt junior Matthew Newland in seventh place.
