TALLAHASSEE, Fla.    –  A total of 16 student-athletes representing the Florida State cross country teams captured All-ACC Academic Team honors on Thursday. The Seminoles had nine women recognized, which tied for the league lead along with NC State and Virginia, while the men had the second-highest total at seven along with Duke, Pitt, and Georgia Tech. “This is just fantastic!” FSU head coach Bob Braman said. “Our women led the ACC in All-Academic honors and the men had the second most. I’m really proud that our student-athletes make academics a priority.”

Results Tallahassee, Fla.   –  The Florida State cross country teams competed in the sole home meet of the season on Friday at the Apalachee Regional Park. Racing in ideal conditions, the Noles certainly excelled on their home course as nine scoring runners logged personal best collegiate times. The men took second place, scoring 87 points in the 8K, led by redshirt junior Matthew Newland in seventh place. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Florida State track and field team picked up two victories on a windy day at Hodges Stadium on the campus of North Florida. Jeremiah Davis was the highlight for the Noles. Davis won the long jump with a mark of 7.98m, just 0.01m off his personal best which he set indoors in the 2021 season.
