Magic Leap partners with AMD for enterprise AR device

Augmented Reality (AR), spatial computing, and 'cinematic reality' specialist Magic Leap has announced a new partnership with AMD. Magic Leap used Nvidia graphics acceleration technology for its first AR/XR headset but is currently working closely with AMD on a "semi-custom SoC". The particular use case that Magic Leap will be tackling with AMD silicon is going to be an enterprise solution. There are big hopes for the partnership and that it will facilitate "creation of the most demanding AR experiences while maintaining power efficiency".
