Dog Haus entering Oakland with ghost kitchen

In East Bay, California, the "dog days" of summer are coming Monday when Dog Haus makes its Oakland debut at the local CloudKitchens facility, at 2353 E. 12th St. The pickup or delivery go-to for gourmet hot dogs, sausages, fried chicken, and plant-based sausage proteins from Beyond Meat and burger proteins from Impossible Foods.
Guests who order takeout through the in-store kiosk or via online will receive discounts. For those who want their items delivered, the Dog Haus Kitchen Oakland will offer free delivery, plus 20% off on DoorDash; $3 off $15 on Postmates, UberEats and GrubHub from May 3-30.
"We are pumped to start serving Dog Haus' signature creations to everyone in Oakland," said Franchisee Nathan Johnson in the release. "Oakland's CloudKitchens facility is in a great spot, right off of the 880 freeway, making it super easy for locals to stop by to enjoy The Absolute Würst. Our premium offerings are also available through delivery, so it really is convenient for everyone to try it out. Just be prepared to fall in love. We look forward to celebrating our grand opening with everyone next week!"

The first thing to know about Alloko Garden is there is no Alloko Garden.

Well… at least not a brick-and-mortar eatery of that name. The month-old restaurant specializing in food from Ivory Coast is one of more than 40 takeout and delivery-only operations at a new ghost kitchen called Jingletown Eats in East Oakland.
But I didn’t know that the first time I ordered a meal on Alloko Garden’s website.
