hours of the morning. and they started letting in patients inside of the mississippi last abortion clinic long before it opened. now they are actively doing abortions and we were able to speak with the abortion providers inside. he said he s been doing this work for 30 years because he believes in it so strongly. that this is the right to health care for women and he came specific to mississippi because there was such a need. he s concerned now after the next ten days because it doesn t go into effect right away in mm mississippi. and there is a ten day period and after that ends what will happen to the women of mississippi. and if you look on a map, you ll see this state is surrounded by other states that have trigger laws. so you ll have to either drive for several hours or get on a plane to get to another state to have access to an abortion. along with those concerns and the procedures that are happening inside of this building that many of the locals here call the p ....

case, dr. caitlin bernard, the indianapolis-based physician who took care of the young girl, she s been the target of threats and smears including from indiana s republican attorney general, who said he ll be investigating her. none of this is new to dr. bernard, or to many other abortion providers. they ve been the targets of threats for years, back in 2020, doctor bernard stopped offering her services to a clinic after the fbi alerted her employers that a kidnapping threat had been made against her daughter. there is in fact a long history of violence against abortion providers in this country. according to the national abortion federation, there have been 11 murders, nearly 500 assaults, 42 bombings, and 196 artisans directed at abortion clinics and at volunteers since 1977. the threat of violence has been increasing for years. last week, tammy coleman oscar, the director of north dakota s last remaining abortion clinic spoke of the threats that her clinics have rece ....
