Jill saward who was the first rape victim to waive her right to anonymity has died at the age of 51. She was assaulted during a burglary at herfathers vicarage in ealing in west london in 1986. At the trial, the judge caused controversy when he said her suffering had been not so great. Jill saward went on to campaign on behalf of victims of Sexual Violence as well as help to train Police Officers and judges.
