Innovative Greeks, a network for Greek investors and entrepreneurs around the globe


“Innovative Greeks” is a newly established initiative, a network launched the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEB) and Endeavor Greece, a non-profit organisation that supports high-impact entrepreneurs in emerging markets to fuel economic growth. The aim of the network is to bring together Greek entrepreneurs, investors, managers and researchers across the globe with fast growing Greek startups. Through this open community of knowledge Greek startups will have the opportunity to cooperate with leading companies, exchange know-how, explore new markets and grow.
The two groups, SEV and Endeavor, joined forces to create a community of innovative Greeks that will benefit Greece’s economic prospects, create growth and jobs, and increase the resilience of the Greek economy. Greece raises issue of war reparations with Germany on 80th anniversary of Nazi Occupation

On 6 April, 1941, German troops invaded Greece. It was the beginning of what is known as Katohi (Occupation) which ruined the Greek economy and brought terrible hardships to the civilian population and resulted in 40,000 civilians dying in Athens alone from starvation and tens of thousands being killed as a result of reprisals by Nazis and their collaborators.
On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Nazi Occupation, the Greek government called for talks with Germany on wartime reparations which were estimated to be the equivalent of 279-289 billion euros following a Greek committee’s assessment on 8 February 2015, under the government of former Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras. ....
