Donnellson man found guilty of homicide in death of couple

Lee County, IA- A Donnellson man has been found guilty of two counts of homicide in the deaths of a Donnellson couple. The Pen City Current reports that 55-year-old Chad Ray Davis of Donnellson plead guilty to two counts of Homicide by Vehicle while Operating Under the Influence in the deaths of Michael and Linda Horn. Davis now awaits sentencing on the convictions for his part in the traffic accident on Highway 2 east of Donnellson in August of 2020. Davis was driving a pickup truck that struck the Horns from behind, who were on a motorcycle. Sentencing for Davis is set for April 15th.
