NORMAN, Okla. - In front of a sold out crowd at Marita Hynes field, the sixth-ranked Florida State softball team (21-6) gave the No. 1 ranked Oklahoma Sooners (22-1) all it could handle in a 5-4 loss on Tuesday night. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –  Florida State Women’s Basketball freshman guard Ta’Niya Latson has earned honorable mention All-America honors by both the Associated Press and the United States Basketball Writers Association, announced on Wednesday. The Miami, Fla., native recently was named the National Freshman of the Year by The Athletic, scoring in double figures in 29 of her 31 games played this season. STILLAWATER, OKLA. - The Florida State softball team's (21-5) seventh inning rally came up just short in a 3-2 loss to No. 3 Oklahoma State (20-2) in the series finale in Stillwater, Okla. The Seminoles wasted no time to put pressure on the Cowgirls as Kaley Mudge and Devyn Flaherty drew back-to-back walks to start the game.
