Filming to commence in June on Dinara Drukarova's Le Grand Marin


Gilles Taurand (the winner of the Best Original Screenplay César in 1995, who has since received three further nominations within this category, and four for the Best Adapted Screenplay trophy) based upon Catherine Poulain’s novel of the same name, the story homes in on 35-year-old Lili who decides to leave everything behind to go fishing in the far North. This “man’s world” will see her negotiating her fears, her physical exhaustion and nature unleashed, but above all, she will need to come to terms with who she really is to win a freedom unlike any other…
