A Jewish student has said he now feels ‘uncomfortable’ wearing a kippah at the university
Oxford University was forced to cancel end-of-term exams after pro-Palestine protesters stormed a campus.
An open letter from Jewish faculty members addressed to Oxford University and the Vice-Chancellor, Irene Tracey, was published on Monday 27th May.
When protesters requested they be allowed to proceed, police pushed them back. At one stage a police officer drew his baton. Meanwhile, a small group of officers formed a line some way in front of the Zionist roadblock.
Madeline Bryant, 20, wants students to condemn antisemitic incidents at the campus.
