I am kenny choi i am michelle griego. Minutes ago, doctor 5 flew over eastbound 80 at ashby avenue in berkeley. The right three lanes are blocked after a big rig caught fire. You can see the top of the tractortrailer right there is a scorched. Firefighters are sifting through the rubble in a cab. No word yet on the cause of the fire or the condition of the driver. Traffic is slow going. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. They should avoid the area if possible. There is no estimated time of reopening.
