'Only democracy will save Cambodia,' say protesters of Hun Sen regime
LOWELL — Any questions about Prime Minister Hun Sen’s imperial ambitions will be laid to rest on Aug. 22, when he stands down in favor of his son, Hun Manet, to take over the government of Cambodia. Local members of the global Cambodian diaspora will protest the undemocratic transfer of power at Pailin Park — the Cambodian community's name for Roberto Clemente Park, at 803 Middlesex St. — on Sunday, Aug. 20, from 3 to 5 p.m.
