Thursday's Amarillo Public Health Department COVID-19 report card indicated there were 41 total new cases.
Per the report card, there are have been 32,460 total positive COVID-19 cases in Randall and Potter counties, with 29,719 recoveries and 632 deaths. Additionally, there are 2,109 active cases — 1,197 of which are from Randall County and 912 in Potter County.
The report shows there have been 217,803 COVID-19 tests conducted and 21 of those are pending. According to the report card, Wednesday's Amarillo area hospitalization rate was at 11.43%. Thursday's hospitalization rate was not available from the Texas Department of State Health Services by the Globe-News print deadline.

Friday's Amarillo Public Health Department COVID-19 report card indicated there were 92 total new cases. Per the report card, there are have been 31,051 total positive COVID-19 cases in Randall and Potter counties, with 27,345 recoveries and 557 deaths. Additionally, there are active cases 3,149 — 1,892 of which are from Randall County and 1,257 in Potter County.
The report shows there have been 194,769 COVID-19 tests conducted and 23 of those are pending. According to the report card, the Amarillo area hospitalization rate is 22.29 percent.
Amarillo remains at Level Red, per the report card, advising use of extreme caution while encouraging the practice of social distancing; use of masks while in public settings; practicing enhanced hygiene and cleaning routines; avoiding social gatherings; traveling only for essential services; and limiting non-essential interactions.

Per the report card, there are have been 28,537 total positive COVID-19 cases in Randall and Potter counties, with 23,627 recoveries and 473 deaths. Additionally, there are 4,437 active cases — 2,449 of which are from Randall County and 1,998 in Potter County.
The report shows there have been 171,672 COVID-19 tests conducted and 35 of those are pending. According to the report card, the Amarillo area hospitalization rate is 21.50%.

Friday's Amarillo Public Health Department COVID-19 report card indicated there were 233 total new cases. Per the report card, there are have been 27,853 total positive COVID-19 cases in Randall and Potter counties, with 21,811 recoveries and 446 deaths. Additionally, there are 5,596 active cases - 3,090 of which are from Randall County while 2,506 are in Potter County.
The report determined there have been 162,693 COVID-19 tests conducted and 60 of those tests are pending. According to the report card, the Amarillo area hospitalization rate is 26.31 percent.
