It is not a secret an injustice has been done. Now, Governor Perdue has an opportunity to right the wrong. We cannot go back to 1980. This is 2012. The North Carolina governor is being urged to pardon a group of civil rights activists were falsely convicted and imprisoned 40 years ago for the firebombing of a white owned Grocery Store. The conviction wic overturned in 1980, but the state has never pardon them. We will speak with one of the wilmington 10 who served eight years behind bars and it became head of the naacp.
