Lawrence higgins passed away. Reporter Community Remembers a man who gave so much to the bay area. Monsignor Lawrence Higgins passed away at the page of 87. He studied in ireland, transferred to bay area, 1958. He was given turning 20 acres of cow pasture into a parish. He did just that. St. Lawrence catholic church. Church home to thousands. Monsignor reached far beyond the catholic church. He became known as the civic leader directing boys and commerce. Today they are taking a moment to remember a hero.
