Proposed gravel pit near KidsPeace raises concerns ELLSWORTH — Planning Board members at a sketch plan meeting on March 4 aired concerns over the proximity of a proposed 10-acre gravel pit to KidsPeace. The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission seized items from a Dublin Garda station last week as part of the probe into whether gardaí were aware of threats to the life of gun victim Patrick 'Pappy' Lyons before his death.
