My two big sisters were cheerleaders and i was not. I think that my job is to be a cheerleader. There will be no pompoms or the usual accoutrements. The value of history is understanding our world and the alternatives that we might have passed up before but we can still reactivate or just do not do that again anyway, all kinds of excellent lessons to be drawn from history.
