Stopping time

EPHRATA — The Grant County Historical Society and Museum will open for the 2023 season May 5.

The museum’s main building is only the first stop of its extensive collection – and its collection is not just exhibits on a shelf. It’s full-fledged buildings, some of them original.

“We have 37 buildings out there,” said museum employee Patty Thornton.

RED BLUFF, Calif. - People living and working west of Red Bluff are frustrated that a portion of their road has not been fixed and on the brink of fire season.
Take a drive on Reeds Creek Road and you will see farms, tractors, and a damaged road.
"It's been eroding for many years. and with recent storms in the last couple of years, we have stood there and watched it fall," said Cindy Haase, the superintendent for Reeds Creek School.
