Outside, its hard to tell this time yesterday i would have been standing in water. We also got our first look inside the school today. And theres virtually no trace of the waters. So there were kids in here squegeeing last night to keep it from coming into the classro. Classrooms. While water did get into the school before sandbags were placed around the perimeter. Shes sick. Reporter yeah. Thats the unfortunate part in all this. But the good news is her house has heat now. And shes one of about 930 who have heat back in their homes. Thats the latest update from pg e just minutes ago. That means about 5,000 people still without that heat. Now, were here at timber point elementary school, its a warming shelter. You see the cots available. Theyve been pretty empty all morning but theyre offering that and food, fresh coffee. People walked in a few minutes ago to take advantage of that.
