According to police, the woman suffered burns and injuries after jumping from her second story apartment window.
The fire, which broke out at around 10 a.m., also appears to have displaced a family of two adults, three children and two dogs. All were guided by sheriff’s deputies out of the fire-engulfed building through a second story window onto a metal overhang.
According to police, employees for Mid-Penn, who were outside the building when they arrived, advised the sheriff’s deputies that the building housed two occupied apartments above the garage.
