They are getting four southbound lanes open in the commute direction but you can see that everything is flowing smoothly across this bridge. Bart is on time. This morning, another ground of potentially dangerous arctic air is sweeping across the border from canada, hitting the upper midwest with temperatures well below normal and the possibility of more snow. The coldest temperatures will be in the northern great plains and great lakes. In some areas, 10 to 30 degrees below normal. And windchill advisories are posted in minnesota and the dakotas. The orinda station remains on the tracks this monring. Bart inspectors will continue today to inspect the damage and figure what caused yesterday afternoons incident the Fire Department arrived within minutes of the call and quickly put out the fire. Fire Officials Say the fire was located underneath one of the middle cars. And, the smoke from that fire billowed into the passenger compartments as it pulled into the station.
