Reporter turns out the driver was right. Turned out there was a paramedic here took him right in and took him to the hospital. Reporter it was a chaotic situation that could have turned out worse. The driver was passing through the area of tenth and highland. A stray bullet came through and grazed him in the shoulder. He made a beeline for murphys. At this point detectives say they dont think the ups driver was the intended target but rather caught in crossfire. They add hes lucky he was only grazed. The packages were loaded onto another truck and sent back out for delivery. Lucky indeed that help was here. Now we are hearing that that ups driver was a 13 year veteran with the company.
