In emeryville this is a live look showing you sky 7, that backup we are facing because of a crash involving a big rig and one other car, this is westbond 80 just before powell. That is the initial spot of the crash there. There are injuries involved there. Blocking at least two lanes. Traffic is getting by on one lane and the backup extends to richmond. Injuries have been reported. There is a second crash in the backup around gilman. Fire crews are there. It looks like a tow truck is on the way to that scene. Look at this backup. Such a mess this morning. Speeds are down to about 6 and then 2 miles an hour once you get close to the crash. The toll plaza is empty because of this. Fire heavily damaged a home in pleasant hill. You can see heavy smoke and flames. Firefighters rushed to the home around 2 45 this morning. The fire captain says everyone inside the home got out okay.
