This community who want the curfew. and after a few nights it s been effective, it s been quiet and peaceful. but here again, people are being defiance. they re staying out here. so this is why the authorities say they want to keep it in place and they also know in the coming days, friday saturday sunday, there are more demonstrations planned, big demonstrations saturday and sunday for example. whether they materialize or not, we ll have to see. but the authorities are concerned that there s still a lot of activity on the street. there s still pop-up demonstrations. earlier today, there was a crowd of several hundred people that marched from city hall from this part of town. a very volatile situation to watch. we re going to be out here and see what happens over the next few minutes to see whether the authorities back off, whether these people go home or just what happens. lawrence, back to you. ron allen, thank you for that report. we re going to keep a camera on the situation there ....
