Edinburgh-based pizza business Civerinos has chosen Portobello’s promenade for its latest by the slice joint. Prom Slice follows the success of West Slice in Corstorphine and will initially launch for takeaway orders only before opening its indoor space for 20 alongside an outdoor area that will have 50 deckchairs overlooking the sea. The premises, opening on April 12, is called Prom Slice. Opening a slice bar in the new location has "always been a dream" for the owner Michele Civiera and his family as it is situated in their hometown of Portobello.
