Green Bay s first two draft picks from 2020 played minimal roles last season. Dillon has a chance to be one of the most productive young running backs in the league if he can continue carrying the workload Williams had behind Jones last season. Williams contributed 505 rushing yards on 111 carries and caught 31 of his 35 targets for 236 yards. Dillon earned 48 touches in both aspects of the offense. The 23-year-old is expected to at least match what Williams added to make Green Bay s offense a well-rounded unit around Rodgers. When Dillon was at Boston College, he ran for 1,000 yards in each of his three seasons, but he only had double-digit receptions in his final year. ....

New York Jets Flight Connections 5/25/21 Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Besides that, I also don’t believe he would be as helpful as a veteran presence as some have suggested. There’s next to no precedence of him being a great mentor other than team-speak when teammates are asked directly about it. Regardl ....
0 of 3 Elise Amendola/Associated Press There s going to be a ton of focus on the New York Jets latest draft class during the 2021 season, and for good reason. They selected some players who could be franchise cornerstones for years to come, such as quarterback Zach Wilson, offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker and more. However, there were already some talented players on the Jets roster heading into the offseason. Even though New York went 2-14 in 2020, that doesn t mean there weren t some players on the team who could end up being part of a turnaround for the franchise. With the free-agent additions and their rookies, some returning Jets players will have more competition for playing time during training camp and the preseason. In order to secure jobs, they ll have to impress and put themselves in positions to have big seasons. ....
